Maybe not what most people would think are important things, but they are important to me.

I watched a documentary about Sudanese boys relocated from a refuge camp to cities in America.

One of the first things they showed them in the apartment was potato chips.

There may be more luxuries over here, but in some ways I think there is more harm too.

We are just more subtle in how we induce death.

I want to know if I am getting physically weaker or if the winter tasks are just too much for anyone. The round bale hay is frozen on the outside and needs to be peeled off. It makes me tired. The tractor was having a hard time too, so I hope I am not just a wimp.

Finding it difficult to raise money and keep upbeat on the running thing.

Nowhere near as bad as having cancer – I feel like such a sook.

So much simpler to say “leave it to someone else”.

When reffing basketball games, I see some players who think every bump, or touch, or block, or impedance to their goal should be called a foul.

Sometimes we think everything that happens that hinders us somewhat, should be vindicated or at least acknowledged.

I am coming to find that some of the so called, uncalled events in my life are part of the way I grow up.
