Well, I have lots of opportunity to engage in an attempt to be intense without being tense. I responded to two blogs without using bias, but was confronted with others who did not afford me the same courtesy. (One fellow did apologize to me as a co-worker read my post and pointed out that he was not looking at properly. I accepted:)
There is a way to deal with this, found in Proverbs 26:4,5
Answer not a fool according to his folly, lest thou also be like unto him.
Answer a fool according to his folly, lest he be wise in his own conceit.
The Bible is not contradicting itself- it shows a no-win situation when someone insists upon being foolish. The best thing is to avoid contact in the first place. But in some cases it is impossible and in some ways an answer needs to come so they do not get used to running roughshod over everyone they consider to be stupider than they are.
Most people are educated beyond their intelligence.
