you’re not my father,so…


A young man was playing a game where the opponents were at least twice his age.  There is no referee and it is recreational sport with honor in calling your own offenses.

Things were getting a little rough, considering the participants age and commitment level.  No one is getting paid, and just about everyone has a real job to show up to in the morning.

When asked to tone it down and the above explanations given as to the why for, the young man said that he should not be spoken to that way.

Imagine, no one is able to tell me what to do but my parent.

Somehow, I think that parent is falling short in his duties, if the child respects no other authority.
