because he first loved us

People who think they should be loved “no matter what” should really try cutting back on the “no matter what” when they find that love.

We love him, because he first loved us. 1 John 4:19

  1. I think we should all work harder at being more “lovable.” Because we do not deserve the love given us, we have even more reason to try and prove ourselves worthy of such an investment. That’s the way I look at it.

  2. I find that the nicer you are to some people , the more they take advantage. Then they are the first to cry that no one loves them unconditionally when someone calls them on their behavior.
