if there are pluses and minuses


Putting others down for perceived weakness and intending to benefit from the same is a negating factor to goodness. 

 

Reprove not a scorner, lest he hate thee: rebuke a wise man, and he will love thee. Proverbs 9:8

 WHERE wards are weak and foes encount’ring strong,
    Where mightier do assault than do defend,
The feebler part puts up enforcèd wrong,
    And silent sees that speech could not amend.
